Magma Coffee Plantations  Magma Coffee Plantations was born from a dream that crossed oceans. Its founder, Dinesh Kumar, originally from India and now residing in the United States, carries with him the legacy of his family: a deep passion for the land. As the son of a farmer, Dinesh established a Magma in Panama to honor his father’s memory while celebrating the richness of Panama’s highlands. In the fertile hills of Cordillera, Dinesh discovered the ideal terroir for Panamanian Geisha, a specialty coffee variety renowned for its elegant cup. To bring this vision to life, he partnered with Edgar Vejerano , who, as the local foreman and partner, manages and nurtures the plantation. Together, Dinesh and Edgar have devoted themselves to producing coffees that harmonize tradition and excellence. Today, Magma Coffee Plantations honors and celebrates the diversity of Panama’s Highlands. With Edgar overseeing day‑to‑day operations on the farm and Dinesh, the company presents its Geisha at the Best of Panama, sharing with the world a story of perseverance, partnership, and a love for coffee.
